Spanning more than 185 acres, the rolling hills of this expansive green space provide commanding views of the Tennessee River and Great Smoky Mountains. The park contains miles of paved trails and many open areas for picnicking and sunbathing. There are two playgrounds within the park and a range of sport areas, including fields for playing baseball, soccer, and softball.

Forest Brook’s family-friendliness extends to the excellent public schools which serve the community. Forest Brook is zoned for Bearden Elementary and Middle and West High Schools, all of which have excellent reputations as some of the region’s finest. Bearden Middle and West High recently achieved IB certification to offer French, German, and Spanish language programs to their students.
